It’s time to start planning for the 29th annual Family Golf Week tournament taking place July 16-18, 2026 in Myrtle Beach. Celebrated as the largest Father-Son tournament in the world, and now in its second year the new Family Division, Family Golf Week has, for 28 years, brought families together from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries for a fun-filled, unforgettable golf experience.

New Host Venue: Sea Trail Golf Resort
We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s tournament will be held at Sea Trail Golf Resort in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. After several wonderful years at Barefoot Resort, we’re excited to switch things up. Sea Trail has undergone an amazing transformation and restoration, including a newly renovated 40,000-square-foot convention center, revitalized clubhouse, and two new restaurants: 55 Bistro Bar and Sunset Prime. Two of the resort’s newly renovated courses—The Byrd ( Summer 2024) and The Maples (Summer 2025), will serve as host courses for the tournament.
Signature events, including Family Golf Week and the awards presentation, will take place inside the air-conditioned convention center, safe from the elements, with ample parking. We’re looking forward to making the tournament bigger and better, in a comfortable, first-class environment. We can’t wait to welcome players, families, and guests for an unforgettable week next July!
